MPs should avoid using plastic mineral water bottles for the sake of the environment


Explaining to the National Assembly about environmental hazards created by one-time use plastic water bottles, Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal urged other members of the Federal Parliament to avoid using them. She stressed a need for MPs to become role models and proactively reduce environmental pollution. “हाल संसदिय समितीका बिभिन्न बैठकमा प्रयोग हुने प्लास्टिकको बोतल कुहिन कम्तिमा ४५० बर्ष लाग्छ। यसले बाताबरण र हाम्रो स्वास्थ्य बिगारिरहेको छ। आउनुहोस, संसद र सिंहदरबारमा प्लाष्टिक बोत्तलको प्रयोग नगरौ, परिवर्तन हामी स्वयम् बाटै शुरु गरौ। “
